Free from wearing mask from 1.30

From January 30th,  don't have to wear a indoor mask anymore(*Except public transportation and hospitals). 

Today,  the third year since COVID-19 first broke out in Korea, the government annouced the time of lifting the obligation to wear indoor masks.  Prime Minister Han Deok-soo said, " The number of confirmed patients has been decreasing for three consecutive weeks, and three out of four adjustment indicators have been met."

Adding, "We will ease the obligation to wear indoor masks from the 30th after the Lunar New Year holiday."

 

However, he said that medical institutions and public transportation maintain their obligation to wear them to protect the vulnerable.
