In case of part- time work 

Most Foreigners, who specially in foreign students want to work in Korea, it's too fundemental elements but easily be ignoring also important to do not miss it, want to share a thing that regarding this case

 

VIolent case

Foreign students who is in Korea, might all know they can work as an part-time job or internship in company, through University internship program, or other variuos way.  But there's some issue especially one who is working in restaurant or serving,  they work these kind of things without permission, 

 

Why is it illegal?

There's a regulation applying to foreign students; in order to foreign students to work part-time in jobs normally allowed to students, such as simple labor, they must obtain a "Part-time employment permit"  from the competent immigration and foreign offices in advance.  Any foreign students can issue "Part-time employment permit" after checking their allowed working hours based on their academic status.

 

Punishment

It going to violate of Article 18 (1) of the Immigration Control Act,  and details of disposition of this case is fine that not exceeding 30 million KRW
