    1. Getting easiser for foreign workers to gtet an E-7 visa

    In last year contents plan to ease E-7 regulations but now The Korean governments finally has decided to ease the  visa issuacne expereinc rueimten for foreign professionals (E-7) hired by SMEs from the current five years to four years in 2023, And later it will ease up to three years.

    Also, they decided to create a new E-7-S visa so that excelelent foreign workers can come to Korea more easily and work.

    And the total number of E-7's annual quota will expand from 2,000 last year to 5,000 in this year.

     

    Others

    Non- professinoal foreigners(E-9) cna apply for convesrion to skilled workers (E-7) before the expiration of their stay period without leaving or re-entry from this year

     

    2. Employment permin system changes

    Unlike previously only avialble for a fixed period of time, it will be changed so that companies can apply for and hire foreign perosnnel form time to time within a certain limit.

    The number of non-professionals allowed at each workplace will be expanded, and the recruitment effort period will be reduced by 14 days.

    3.The employment of foreign students has become easier

    Starting this year, foreign graduates who want to get a non-professional job in Korea will be able to get a job by converting to a foreign workforce (E-9) under the employment permit system.  Part-time employment activities for foreign stduetns will also be improved.

    Foreign students often did not get permission due to strict restrictions on working hours.  The government has decided to ease working hours limit to 30 hours on weekdays this year.  However, in this case, academic achievement becomes important. 

    In addition, the Korean government has decided to reconsider its immigration policy so that excellent foreign workers can settle down and live in Korea.
