2023 festivals & Events in Korea

 

In previous post, you can check this year's holiday in Korea, ain't not much holiday placed in weedays, but still can enjoy in weekends with some exortic and fun and memorable experiences in each's mind.  Let's find what event is held already and what things are ready to be come up with in this good season or timing.

 

1. Daegwallyeong Snow Festival 2023(27-31 Jan 2023)

Selected as one of the top 12 cultural festivals in Korea, visitors can enjoy the snow land photo zone, ice sculpture park, snowman park and other activities at the festival venue, known as Alps of Korea with snow-covered landscape.

 

2.Garden of Morning Calm Lighting Festival 2023 (9 Dec 2022 - 19 Mar 2023)

The biggest festival of lights in Korea! The annual Lighting Festival at The Garden of Morning Calm covers over 330,000 sqm and 30,000 lights, turning the snowy ground into a winter wonderland on sunset.

 

3. Pinocchio & The Little Prince Starlight Festival(2 Dec 2022 - 5 Mar 2023)

This French village and a top filming location for Korean dramas lights up beautifully in winter, creating a fairytale atmosphere with its pastel colour buildings.

 

4. Seoul Land Winter Festival Luna Happy Holidays 2023 (26 Nov 2022 - 1 Mar 2023)

Impressive illumination, snow fun park (120m long snow shedding slope, snow playground, ice & smelt fishing), music performances, 3D laser show & more exciting activities this winter at Seoul Land Winter Festival.

 

5. Oak Valley Sonata of Light 3D Festival (all year round)

When the night falls, a fantastic world of beautiful lights and mysterious stories unfolds at Oak Valley's Sonata Of Light. Enjoy the amazing 3D lighting show along the 1.5km path of five inspiring light themes with music.

 

6. E-World Illumination (11.19.2022 ~ 02.28.2023)

E-World Starlight Festival is held with ten million lights in a large area around E-World and 83 Tower. The festival features a 15-meter Miracle Christmas Tree, a 250-meter illuminated road, and a garden of 100,000 LED roses among other festive attractions. Visitors can also take memorable photos at romantic and attractive photo zones that light up the evening.

 

7.Herb Island Light Festival (11.01.2022 ~ 03.31.2023)

Herb Island Light Fesitval features a romantic ambience created by splendid lighting displays. The festival is a spectacular evening event that entertains visitors year-round with aromatic herbs from spring to fall, and even more light decorations in winter.
