Korean company WANTS 'Korean fluency' for foreigners

In the Korean job fair held several months ago, 73 domestic companies

that are willing to hire foreigners to participate. Companies scheduled to be hired

conducted one-on-one on-site interviews with foreign students,

and additional events such as visa counseling, resume photography,

and makeup were also held, including resume clinics.

And in conclusion in the main point of the company's preference for foreigners is

"A foreigner who is fluent in Korean or can speak at least."

When looking through some of the comments of companies are as follows 

 

Most of the customers are Korean, so they can speak Korean, 

and they want to hire people to work at overseas branches in the future."

 We will hire applicants who prefer foreigners who are basically good at Korean 

and have a positive attitude toward Korean culture, he said. He said, 

"We will give preferential treatment to experienced workers who have worked in Korea 

and send them overseas after two to three years of training after hiring."

We are hiring foreign talent suitable for the global market, he said. 

"There are currently 15 foreigners working, and thanks to the open organizational culture, 

there is no difficulty for foreigners to work." Regarding Korean language skills, 

"Since I usually use Korean at work, I should not have difficulty communicating with 

employees in Korean, and I should have language skills to communicate with 

overseas buyers and production plants."

 

But there's some exceptions :
