Opportunity to work in 'HIGH-TECH industry in Korea

Finally, this year in 2023, the E-7-S visa was newly established by improving part of the E-7 visa.

There's some points that one should know about this visa's information

• Existing E-7 visa : Posstive Method, issued only to 93 occupations.
• New E-7-S visa: Negative method, all but simple labor, general office, and occupatinos that harm social customs

E-7-S visa recipients will be selected based on the total score of the following seven criteria items

1. Income: up to 45 pints based on income/ age 

ex. 42~50k$ at age 20~ 29: 25 points / at age 40 ~  : 10 points

 

2. Age: Up to 20 points

ex. age 20 ~ 29: 20 points

age 40 ~ : 5 points

 

3. Education: up to 30 points

ex. PhD: 30 points, M.S: 25 points,

B.S: 20 points,  A.D: 15 points

 

4. Work experience: up to 25 points

ex. 1 ~ years : 5 points, 9 ~ years: 25 points

 

5. Language Skills : up to 20 points

ex. TOPIK 5th Degree ~ : 20 points

TOPIK 2nd Degree : 5 points

 

6. Studying Abroad: up to 20 points

ex. PhD: 20 points,  M.S: 15 points,

B.S 10 points,  A.D : 5 points

 

7. Additional Points: 10 points for below

• Graduate from a specific University (Time's 200 Univ, QS's 500 Univ)
• Employment recommendation
• Venture company
• Publication of a paper in SCI, SCIE, SSSCI, A&HCI (Less than 5 years ago from now)
