Make your resume to be shown more special

Sometimes it hard to write resume effectively and ambiguous what feature have to be emphasized more and what other feature to be fine less focus on.  Let's look at it with eyes of recruiter.

 

 

1. Confirmation of working experience 

 

It is important to have practical experience related to the job applied.  Since candidates have all had similar company atmosphere, environment, and work experiences, it is important to distinguish them from each other because they are all similar overall.   For example, it can be a good way to show your story history or blog of a project that you plan and execute from beginning to end alone, or your activities like a diary on a page you create.

 

2. Verification of language fluency skills 

 

As more and more companies are trying to make inroads into the global market, they need competent language speakers in the target local market.  In any job group, English is essential for most global markets, and there may be other languages required depending on the service and the target area.   In particular, foreigners require Korean language skills, so preparations are needed accordingly.
For this reason, the company prefers talented people who can express their opinions in English even slowly in relation to language use.  It is recommended to show excellent language skills in various language certificates or practical conversation test verification.

 

3. Review the overall points

 

Reviewing the overall matters confirms knowledge, major, experience, credit, and OA ability related to the job you applied for. 
In the case of jobs that are restricted from showing their careers through documentary work, such as developers and designers, they can be further proved by showing web pages, portfolios, motion graphics, creations, contests, or project awards.

 

4. Take one step further

 

Think about how you can take each statement one step further and add in what the benefit was to your boss or your company. By doing this, you clearly communicate not only what you’re capable of, but also the direct benefit the employer will receive by hiring you; regarding people get hire performers, so you want to show that you didn’t just do stuff, but that you got stuff done! As you look at your bullet points.

 

5. Show some personality

 

Feel free to include an “Interests” section on your resume, but only add those that are relevant to the job. Are you a guitar player with your eye on a music company? Definitely include it. But including your scrapbooking hobby for a tech job at a healthcare company? Don’t even think about it.

 

6. Constantly refresh it

 

If you have any experiences of taken on new responsibilities? Learned new skills? Add them in. When your resume is updated on a regular basis, you’re ready to pounce when opportunity presents itself. And, even if you’re not job searching. Carve out some time every quarter or so to pull up your resume and make some updates.
